PRIDE – established in 2005 is designed to work with girls between the ages of 7 through 17 to encourage positive growth and development through structured arts and humanities activities.

The program consists of nine 3-hour sessions run by professionally trained staff.  Guest speakers and performers make presentations during the sessions and art activities and subject matter based on the seven principles of Kwanzaa are interwoven into each session.

Members of the PRIDE program are taught life skills, participate in arts and crafts, go on field trips and culminate the session with a public performance and art exhibit.
