Parent FAQs

  • Tuition is a sliding scale fee, and no one is ever turned away. We have currently paused tuition payments as we collectively recover from the pandemic. We will be reassessing tuition fees following the 2023/2024 program season.

  • Everyone is welcome at QANC! We will work with parents and participants to accommodate allergies wherever possible. Be sure to inform us when you’re registering your child for the program.

  • Watoto meets every Saturday from September to May, with a break over the summer. “We’re Grown-ish” meets weekday evenings in the fall and spring.

  • Our public events include:
    - Hispanic Heritage Celebration (October)
    - Kwanzaa Celebration (December)
    - Exceptional Women’s Concert (March)
    - Kwanzaa in May (Culminating program event)

    In addition to our annual performances, we frequently participate in local events. Be sure to check our calendar for exact dates.

  • We encourage new participants and parents to come to our Open House to meet the QANC family. We hold an Open House in September and in January. Check our calendar for exact dates.

  • Typically, programs are held at:
    - Trinity-on-Main
    - NBHA Center of Excellence
    - Plainville Youth Services
