Alison Johnson

Alison serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Queen Ann Nzinga Center. She is a founding member of the organization and a member of the women’s ensemble, Nzinga’s Daughters. She has influenced the youth through her association with music. Her musician skills have caused a connection while embracing the talents of the arts. Alison’s outstanding supervisory skills have led her to retain her position at the organization. She has identified empathy to close relationships while maintaining her professionalism. 

In 2008, Alison earned a special achievement award for Hardworking Commitment and Positive Youth Development. Her demonstration within the organization supports the youth in ways of wisdom, creativity, and inspiration. Alison is inspired by the dedication to non-profit work. She admires the interaction of children and the significant roles of the adult participants. She envisions the advancement of the Queen Ann Nzinga Center to touch the lives of all children.
