For Interns

Become an Intern with Queen Ann Nzinga Center

We are always looking for interns to help out with the Watoto program! Interns will design curriculum, facilitate weekly sessions, and build a community of support around at-risk youth while receiving high-quality mentorship in their field. We offer a multitude of creative learning opportunities—no arts experience necessary.

We operate on an academic calendar, so most internships run from September to May. We have the credentials to supervise master’s students pursuing art therapy, social work, and human services. Contact us to coordinate with your academic advisor.

As a QANC intern, you can look forward to:

  • Gaining experience in a unique setting with a flexible schedule

  • Working with youth in a multicultural, arts-focused program

  • Connecting with mentors in a positive learning environment

  • Engaging in hands-on, creative activities

Interested applications should contact us using the form below. We look forward to welcoming you into the Queen Ann Nzinga Center family!
