A 1989 Graduate of Central CT State University (CCSU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Deb has been in the IT field for 36 years doing desktop and network support and has been employed with the West Hartford Public School district for the past 24 years.

(AAWL), a New Britain-based community cat welfare organization. As Secretary\Treasurer, Deb manages AAWL’s banking\vet bill invoicing, bi-yearly newsletter, social media and ordering of food for volunteers. Deb and her small grass-roots team of volunteers feed over 400+ homeless community cats on a daily basis and also perform “TNR” (trap\neuter\release) to help curb the over-population of stray cats in New Britain.
In her “spare” time, Deb is also a drummer\musician and has played in several local CT bands since 1990, including The Reign, Swivel Hips and currently with DEE-Lish & the Disciples. Deb also played with Nzinga’s Daughters when the band first got its start and has performed with the pit band in Kwanzaa ceremonies over the years, where she has seen many of its participants go on to chase their dreams of performing.
